Face is an index of mind...how far true ?

This was the incident that happened during my recent visit to hometown in India..I went to Udupi (around 40km from my home) to do some shopping of spicy food items to take to Japan as these kind of things are not available in that alien country.Since the distance was to long i took a bus from Kokkarne which usually takes 1hour 30min to cover the distance of 40km.I reached Udupi in the morning and on the way i saw some posters of the newly released Kannada movie "Jossh"..Posters made my legs walk towards the theater to watch the movie..Even though the movie was not up to my expectation but worth watching it for a ticket of Rs.15. After finished the movie did some shopping's in a newly opened Big Bazaar..I had no intentions to buy things other than spicy items, but the monsoon discount sales made me to buy dresses, perfumes and other items...So finally somehow managed to put a full stop to the shopping the time was 4:30PM...Fortunately there was clear weather outside..with purchased items hold in both hands started to put my steps towards the bus stand..Since it was busy hours for schools and offices, there were many peoples like me waiting for the buses...after waiting for about 15min,my bus arrived on stop..With luggage's on both hands somehow tried and managed to get into the bus first and occupy a seat. After some seconds or so,one more person came and sat next to me in the same seat. The bad smell of sweat from his body was attracted my eyes to have glance at him unknowingly. With his torn ed out shirt, dhoti which looks like its never seen water and soap from the time of its purchase, with beard and mustache which i guess not been shaved from last 1 year and i am sure his body also have not soaked with water and soap more than a month..These descriptions about him made me confusion whether he is a beggar or a thief or a gentlemen. My sixth sense gave a signal to my mind that aware of him..he looked like he is on a urgent, with lot of tension and he was glaring everyone..Suddenly he turned his face towards me and started glaring at me.Now , i was totally nervous ,scared a bit and remembered all the mantras i knew and prayed to god.."Oh god, please save me from this man"...His notorious look still continued towards me...I turned my glance outside window just to make comfortable myself that such a person is not sitting besides me..But the bad odour from his body reminded me his presence..When the bus takes the turn on the roads,he used to fall on me which appears to be purposefully he wanted to fall on me...with luggage on my both hands and 2 luggage's on my lap,i was not able to move a bit..the bus also overloaded with peoples..there wasn't a space to stand..there were people who used to get down at some stops but again double the number of people are getting inside the bus at each bus stop..I was hiding my watch, mobile phones and wallet from his notorious look. But my bad luck,my mobile phone started ringing the tone " ahh zara touch me touch me touch me,zara hold me hold me hold me...!!!". With no other way than to lift the phone...I said " Hello...Who is this..?"..From the other side " Hello sir,i am ****** calling from ICICI bank..we have a good offer now sir...we are offering home loans at very low interest rates of 8~10% sir...would you like to apply for home loans sir..?" and suddenly i rejected the phone blaming the
I was waiting for my stop to come...He was continuously starring at me all along the journey;may be he was thinking about How much amount of money he will get from my wallet..?,what will be the total cost of the luggage i am carrying with me..? I waited for his bus stop to come and prayed with god that let his bus stop come before my bus stop. But the god does not hear my prayer..finally my stop came and i was making myself ready to get down from the busy bus...Hurriedly i picked up all the luggage's and walked toward the exit of the bus and got down safely..and started walking fast towards my home as i wanted to reach home before the weather becomes dark as i wasn't having torch with me.It takes 15min of walk from bus stop to my home through the shortest forest route.
As i started putting my steps towards my home,i heard somebody calling from my back, saying " Hello sir, please wait for a minute". I looked back and surprised, scared by seeing the person. He was the same person who made my heartbeat to beat at its peak throughout the journey in the bus,he was the same person who looks like thief, poor beggar....as he started walking towards me my heartbeat raised, looked around to see at least some people will come to help me in case i got robbed by him...As he approached towards me,raised something from his hand towards me and said " sir, I think this is your wallet, i got from your seat ,may be this has fallen down from your pocket when you started getting down from the bus hurriedly".He handed over the wallet to me and returned back to the same bus for his bus stop without giving me time to say thanks for returning the wallet to me.All the credit cards, debit cards, money etc were there in their original position without misplacement.I personally thanked to that person and to god for giving back the wallet.I felt shame on myself for misunderstanding the person from his face and external appearance but i could not able to understand his inner heart and could not even read his mind from his face.I questioned myself all along the walk till the home "Face is an index of mind...how far true ?" and reached home before the start of the dark night with a feeling of "one cannot judge the mind by seeing the face".

Awesome dude! Welcome to the blogging world, btw! :)

Good point discussed...we more often try to judge the people by how they appear. Especially the poor looking people are ignored without even having the idea about how "rich" they are, by nature.
